wait for it

This morning the song Hungry (by Kathryn Scott) has been stuck in my head. “And so I’ll wait for you… I’m falling on my knees, offering all of me, Jesus you’re all this heart is living for.” I know that the second part there – the falling and offering and living for – is often the main focus of our walk with the Lord. But I think its incredibly important not to overlook the “wait for” part. This is something that I’ve been learning about a lot recently. There are so many different opportunities before me right now, and I just want to KNOW whats going on in my life! I do know that God has a plan for my life (Jeremiah 29:11 is one of my all time favorite verses), but sometimes its hard to wait for his timing. I pray, that he will give me the patience and the trust to seek his will and to be willing to wait for it to be revealed and worked out… because I know that it will be so worth it.

Micah 7:7 “But as for me, I will look to the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.”
